SoulBuddy

SoulBuddy app is a free chat forum for people aged 16+, where users (we call them “SoulBuddies”), previously unknown to each other, chat over a video call for 5 mins and afterwards score each other’s 1-on-1 performance based on criteria, such as kindness, authenticity and respect.
SoulBuddies are selected randomly, anonymously and in many cases (to the extent possible) from very different groups (ie. male vs female, young vs old, from different countries, etc). Groups are created based on voluntary information provided by the users.
The chats (we call them “SoulBuddy Talk”) do not focus on any specific topics and there is no ‘right’ or ‘wrong’. The winning argument is ‘kindness’ and whatever it takes to make your opposite SoulBuddy ‘happier’.
Each SoulBuddy collects their score and at the end of each week, the top SoulBuddy scorers get awarded amazing gifts.
Main features:
Open and manage your unique profile whilst only sharing your username and picture (if uploaded) with other users.
Experience five-minute-long video chats with SoulBuddies who you have randomly been connected with.
Rate your SoulBuddy’s performance based on criteria, such as kindness, authenticity, and respect.
Collect as many points as possible by having quality SoulBuddy Talks with other SoulBuddies.
View your Last score as regards your last SoulBuddy Talk and your Total score as well as your position on the weekly Leaderboard.
